At the Direction de l’Animation, de la Jeunesse et des Loisirs (Youth club), you can register for the following activities for a full year: photography, yoga, gym, ceramics, painting, theatre, dancing etc.
If you enjoy sport, l’Office Municipal des Sports (the municipal sports office), has a network of clubs offering more than 40 sports, including team sports, all types of athletics, martial arts...
If you prefer the theatre, you can register with the Comédie de Clermont. Music fans can listen to their favourite groups and chat about their musical passions over a drink at the Coopérative de mai, on the Place du 1er Mai.
All this for a very reasonable price. Since the town understands how tight things can be financially for younger people, they have created the Citéjeune card, available to people aged between 15 and 27. For €8, you can get discounts in nearly all the Clermont-Ferrand cultural and sports centres, and every month, you are offered free places at many events...
Clermont-Ferrand is a large university town with nearly 35,000 students. At the beginning of each academic year, the guide de l’étudiant (student’s guide) is distributed to all students, full of practical information about what to do in Clermont-Ferrand, the town also welcomes them by organising Clermont fête ses étudiants (Clermont celebrates students).

The Citéjeune card, available to young people aged between 15 and 27, gives you the opportunity to take full advantage of Clermont-Ferrand’s cultural and sporting life, with special offers on concerts, cinema, theatre, sports events and leisure.
Espace Info Jeunes (Youth information centre)
You are invited to the Espace Info Jeunes (Youth information centre), Centre Régional Information Jeunesse Auvergne (Auvergne Regional Youth Information Centre), with a public service mission to young people, offering them 3 levels of information and services.
Local Mission
The Local Mission is an association set up according to 1901 legislation. It covers the Clermont-Ferrand community, which unites 14 communes in the area, as well as any others which wish to be a part of it, or according to requirements defined jointly by the state and representatives from the Clermont-Ferrand district.
