SATCAR: The Week of the Art, Technology and Culture of Automobiles and Highways
Over the period of a few days, SATCAR offers the general public an exceptional programme of educational and sporting exhibitions, activities and shows of a technical, artistic and cultural nature.
Since the first time it took place in 1989, organised by Clermont-Ferrand, this event has become a key meeting place for automobile and highway professionals as well as anybody whose business or interests are related to these themes. Each event hosts more than 1000 professionals, scientists and researchers, as well as thousands of visitors. More than 200 regional, national and European partners take part in SATCAR, with the support of Clermont-Ferrand, Michelin, the Puy-de-Dôme Department, the Centre France media group and the Crédit Agricole bank.
Every 2 years, SATCAR gives an opportunity to reflect on the direction and outlook in these areas:
- by organising exchanges and meetings between professionals during international congresses and European symposiums
- by giving as many people as possible the opportunity to see displays renowned for their very high quality
SATCAR has become an international reference and has its own website www.satcar.asso.fr, where you can find a wide variety of information (full programme, history...) in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
