Opening hours:
From 1 October to 30 April: open from 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday, from 9:30am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6pm on Sundays and public holidays.
From 1 May to 30 September: open from 9am to 7pm from Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holidays: from 10am to 7pm.

Roman Art Space
| Located in the basement of the Tourist Office, visitors are fascinated by the Roman Art Space... This is a showcase for an artistic heritage which is unique in Europe, in the geographical centre of the most beautiful treasures of mediaeval art. Including a 30 minute presentation on a 7 metre screen, around 3,000 images show 300 Roman sites, their construction methods, the beauty of the stone, the way of life in another era. The adjoining room has interactive terminals and a map to plan a journey or to examine particular themes in more detail (the routes to Santiago de Compostela, the Roman Virgins, Clermont and Montferrand in the Middle Ages...). The atmposphere then becomes more intimate. In warmly lit recesses, "Majestic Virgins" present their simple, moving beauty. |

Massif Central Space
The Massif Central Space has documents describing outdoor activities. Books, magazines, maps, video cassettes and CD-ROMs are available. Exhibitions, which change from time to time, are also of interest and worth a look.
