Vidéoformes, International festival of video and multimedia arts
The Vidéoformes event revolves around two poles: The Festival itself, which lasts around a week, and the displays, which carry on for two weeks longer.
Vidéoformes is a cultural association for the distribution of video and multimedia-based artistic creations, and for the democratisation of access to new technologies.
Vidéoformes should be thought of as a permanent observatory monitoring changes in the art of new technologies ; a space for presentation, reflection and debate. It creates a number of bridges between an artistic world, the general public and professionals, showing its most creative aspects : installations, video and cinema films, performances, CD-Roms and Internet sites, etc.
